Global Training Program 2026 (GTP-2026)

Participants in the Global Training Program 2026 (GTP-2026) will engage in a structured international training experience designed to provide hands-on exposure to carbon removal, biochar, and sustainable agriculture projects. The program focuses on practical execution, structured learning, and meaningful contribution to ongoing operations across engineering, operations, research, and business functions. Over the course of the program, participants will learn and contribute to the full project development lifecycle, from early-stage scoping and planning to implementation, monitoring, documentation, and support for certification and verification processes. The program will involve travel and placement across locations where Alcom is implementing projects, providing direct field exposure and first-hand experience of project deployment in diverse operating environments.
For the right candidate, the programme may lead to a full-time role in the Philippines, India, or other locations where the company operates, subject to business needs and performance.
Scope of Work:
1. Engineering & Project Operations
- Support project development on-site, including planning, preparation, and execution of activities.
- Coordinate delivery and management of materials and equipment.
- Assist in commissioning activities, audit preparation, and training of project teams.
- Manage operational logistics for the project team, including travel and on-site coordination.
- Handle project funds and prepare liquidations or financial reconciliations as required.
2. Research, Documentation & Technical Systems
- Develop manuals, guides, and technical documentation for processes and systems.
- Conduct research and gather inputs to produce accurate and actionable documents.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for trials, project performance, and carbon accounting.
3. Communications & Knowledge Management
- Prepare and maintain internal reports, trackers, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Support investor-facing materials, proposals, pitch decks, grant applications, and public outreach initiatives.
- Assist in identifying project opportunities, stakeholder engagement, market analysis, and implementation of solutions.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in engineering or related fields); relevant work experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent business English (written and spoken).
- Solid computer literacy (email, documents, spreadsheets); advanced financial, statistical, or presentation skills are a plus.
- Willingness to work in field conditions and travel locally and internationally to project sites.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural teams.
