About the Role
• The candidate would be part of the California Carbon division of cKinetics, which provides business intelligence and analytics in carbon and clean fuels markets.
• Researching and analyzing economic issues pertaining to carbon markets. Analyze a variety of data streams using mathematical models and statistical techniques
• Supporting delivery of reports and analysis. Publishing relevant forecast, commentaries and reports synthesizing the key news and developments
• Engage with proponents in US and Canada to keep track of fast-evolving market developments with regulators, industry bodies, clients, etc.
• Supporting and actively participating in product development

Requirements
• Post-graduation in disciplines such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in climate finance, or environmental commodities, or data/market analytics
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of standard analytical software such Microsoft excel, R, or SPSS
