About the Role
• Knowledge and working experience of ESG frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), CSRD, TNFD and other popular global reporting standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate climate considerations into various aspects of operations, including supply chain management, product development, and corporate sustainability initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise and support in renewable energy projects, energy efficiency improvements, and carbon offset initiatives.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry partners, to advocate for climate policies and foster partnerships for collective action.
Requirements
• Studying towards a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree or professional qualification with a quantitative, statistical, energy and/or economics focus.
• Strong collaboration skills, ability to creatively problem solve
• Great written and verbal communication
• A genuine interest in energy market dynamics – some knowledge of the key drivers of the energy transition (through studies or general background reading) would be beneficial
